Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Smith Notary Concierge, we value your time and are committed to providing excellent, seamless service.
Please review our refund and cancellation policies below.
1. Cancellation Policy
Appointments must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in a $50 cancellation fee.
Emergency situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
2. Rescheduling Policy
Clients may reschedule once without penalty if notice is given at least 24 hours before the original appointment.
Rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a $25 rescheduling fee.
Additional rescheduling requests may require a new appointment booking.
3. No-Show Policy
A no-show is considered when a client fails to appear within 15 minutes of the scheduled time for mobile or online appointments.
No-shows are non-refundable and may require full prepayment for future services.
4. Refunds
Remote Online Notary Services are non-refundable once the signing session has started, regardless of completion status.
Mobile Notary and Apostille Services deposits are refundable only if cancellation occurs more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Fees for completed services, travel, courier delivery, or third-party services are non-refundable.
5. Apostille Processing Refunds
Apostille service fees are non-refundable once documents have been submitted for processing.
Expedited service fees are non-refundable once initiated.
6. Service Guarantee
We are committed to excellence.
If a notarization or apostille cannot be completed due to our error, we will work to resolve the issue or offer a service credit at our discretion.
